Region 8-AAAA has announced its all-region team for competition cheerleading. Six Stephens County cheerleaders made that all-region team. They are seniors Ally Brock and Stephanie Collier, juniors Marla Feaster and Emily Morgan, sophomore Makenzie Dye, and freshman McKinley Bennett.

Wrestling season is underway at Stephens County High School. The Indians took home third place out of about 20 teams in the King of the Mountain tournament in Hiawassee this past Friday and Saturday.
