Daniel turned his resignation in this week and the Stephens County Board of Education approved that resignation at a work session and called meeting Thursday. No other information is available at this time.
Read moreStephens County High School’s Deanna Lewis finished 44th in the state AAAA girls’ cross country meet last weekend. The meet took place in Carrollton. Lewis finished in a time of 23 minutes, 18.39 seconds. She qualified for the state meet by finishing 6th in the Region 8-AAAA meet a couple of weeks ago at Unicoi State Park.
