SCMS Wrestling team celebrate another victory

The Stephens County Middle School Wrestling team won the East Hall Invitational Wrestling Tournament last Saturday. 13 wrestlers placed with a 3rd place or better finish—3 Rebel wrestlers finished 1st:  Mason Norton, Walker Thomason, Lukas Ricci. Their next match will be Tuesday, November 28th, when they travel to Habersham Central to compete against Habersham Central and Gainesville.

The Stephens County Middle School wrestling team lost a very close match to Commerce 51-42 and beat Rabun County 91-6 in home matches played at the Stephens County High School Indian Gym on Tuesday. 17 Rebel wrestlers posted victories. SCMS Wrestling team defeats Franklin Co.

The Stephens County Middle School Wrestling team defeated Franklin Co. in a close match, 45-44, on Thursday. They also defeated Banks County, 59-33. Eighteen Rebel wrestlers had wins. The Rebels’ record improves to 3-0, and their next match will be on Tuesday, Nov. 14th, when they host Rabun County and Commerce at the Stephens County High School Indian Gym.
