Georgia Unemployment rate is unchanged

Statewide unemployment claims fell, and the unemployment rate remained unchanged in February, according to numbers released by the Georgia Department of Labor Thursday morning. The rate stayed constant at 4.5 percent. A year ago, the state’s unemployment rate was 5.2 percent. The national rate stayed at 4.1 percent in February.
