BOE could face charges up to $100,000 for an unpaid bill dating back to 2009

The Stephens County Board of Education is in the midst of mitigating an unpaid bill that could potentially cost the board up to $100,000. Law enforcement agencies have confirmed divers and search teams have recovered the body of a drowning victim at Singing Pines Recreation Area on Lake Hartwell. The body was recovered Tuesday.
