Cause of Reported ‘Boom’ Unknown

There is no word on what caused a loud boom Monday in Stephens County. WNEG received multiple reports of the boom and a feeling of the ground or buildings shaking along Highways 106 and 145 south of Toccoa. Authorities had no reports of anything that would have caused the boom and no reason has been determined as of yet.
