Memorial Day holiday travel period ends with 8 traffic deaths

The Georgia State Patrol recently released the crash report totals for the Memorial Day holiday travel period. According to reports from GSP, this year’s 78-hour holiday period resulted in 8 traffic deaths. Of the eight fatalities three were investigated by GSP Troopers. The Georgia Fraternal Order of Police has launched a new program designed to help smaller law enforcement agencies keep their officers safe while on duty.
