Carol Regina Smith O’Kelley

Carol Regina Smith O’Kelley, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 at Six Mile Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family. 

Born July 22nd, 1951, in Toccoa, Ga, Carol was the daughter of the late E.D. Smith and Winnie Dean Smith. Carol was of the Baptist faith.

Carol is survived by her brothers, James Smith of Holly Springs, Russell Smith (Patsy), Greg Smith (Lisa) all of Westminster, South Carolina; sisters, Virginia Jones of Toccoa, Georgia, and Opal Krauel (Robert) of Indian Head, Maryland.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald, Steve, Guy, Vic, and Rodney Smith; Sister, Joyce Smith; Sister-in-law, Peggy Haulbrooks Smith and Brother-in-Law Jabez Jones.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carol’s memory to Old Liberty Baptist Church, 589 Old Liberty Rd, Westminster, S.C.
