Anonymous call leads TPD to Skyview Lane residence where 4 people were arrested

An anonymous call led Toccoa Police to a Toccoa residence where several local residents were arrested.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, his department received an anonymous call about some suspicious activity at a residence on Skyview Lane.

Mize says during the investigation at the residence a strong odor of marijuana was discovered coming from a vehicle in the driveway.

A consented search of the vehicle and residence yielded several drug related objects, crack cocaine, oxycodone and Xanax.

Mize says four were arrested after the investigation.

Terri Broome Turner, 55, of Clarkesville was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.

Bobby Mayfield, 68, of Toccoa was arrested and charged with possession and use of drug related objects.

Daniel Williams, 48, of Toccoa was arrested and charged with possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute and possession of Xanax with intent to distribute.

Also, Mize says 20-year-old, Toccoa resident, Solmaria Alford was arrested on an outstanding felony probation warrant.

All subjects were taken to the Stephens County Jail.
