Mr. Earl William Stockdale

Mr. Earl William Stockdale, age 83 of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, September 18^th, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

A son of Earl Stockdale and Leora Pocock Stockdale, he was born on June 6^th, 1941 in Nokomis, Illinois. He was a graduate of the University of Florida and received a master’s degree. He worked as an electrical engineer for many years. After retirement he worked as a handyman. Earl was a competitive senior tennis player, he loved to scuba dive, go hiking and a die-hard Gator Fan. Earl had a giving nature; he was a member and President of Kiwanis Club of Hot Springs Village. He attended First Alliance of Toccoa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Rogers Stockdale and a sister Dr. Margaret Stockdale.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law David and Debbie Stockdale of California grandchildren Nicole, Andrew, Jordan; great grandchildren Brodye and Bradyn; sister Patricia Sproull of Toccoa, Georgia; brother Clyde Stockdale of Toccoa, Georgia.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
