Firewood Permits Available for Online Purchase

Firewood permits for the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest are now available for purchase through a new online E-Permit system. Permits may be purchased by computer or mobile device at any time and eliminates traveling to your local Forest Service office.   

This new service provides flexibility and convenience to our forest users. To purchase a firewood permit or to learn more about permits and gathering firewood, visit the USDA Forest Service E-Permit website at the link attached to this story on wnegradio.com. Firewood permits will still be available to purchase at local Forest Service offices and participating vendors.
