Toccoa Resident Arrested, Jailed In Madison County

Toccoa resident Kenneth Russell Dobbs, 52, has been arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail in Danielsville on charges that include aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery. 

WNEG News spoke with Madison County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division Captain Jimmy Patton, who said the investigation began this past April when allegations of crimes occurring between 2011 and 2015 were brought to light involving Dobbs and a minor under the age of 15, who, at that time, lived in the same household as Dobbs. 

Patton said the investigation is still ongoing and further details will be made available after the completion of the investigation.

Dobbs remains in custody in Madison county, where he has been denied standard-request bond and must petition Superior Court for a bond hearing due to the nature of the allegations and charges.
