Main Street Toccoa partners with USDA to host Home and Business Essentials seminar

Main Street Toccoa and the United State Department of Agriculture have partnered together to present Home and Business Essentials at the Historic Ritz Theatre this week in Stephens County

The seminar is slated for Tuesday, October 29, at 4 p.m. and will focus on topics including starting a business, improving a business, getting a business loan, garnering a home loan, and even a discussion of federal programs that provide loans and grants for home repair.

According to Main Street Toccoa’s Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby, this free seminar provides the perfect starting point to get ahead in life.

Crosby says there will be several speakers featured during the seminar; including representatives from the USDA, the Small Business Administration, the Small Business Development Center, the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, just to name a few.

Each speaker will provide a brief discussion of available programs.

Crosby encourages the community to take advantage of this free event.

She adds that complimentary refreshments will be provided, and door prizes will be given out throughout the night.

The event will last from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
