43rd Annual Toccoa Harvest Festival starts tomorrow

An annual tradition returns this weekend to downtown Toccoa.

The 43rd annual Toccoa Harvest Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday in downtown Toccoa.

Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said that everything gets started at 10 a.m. Saturday.

She says this year, they will have more vendors than in previous years.

“We will have 150 vendors, more than we’ve ever had and that includes more food vendors,” she said.

For the kiddos there will games, face painting, papa’s little choo choo, bouncy houses, and other inflatables as well as a petting zoo featuring “Goats on a Rope.”

Also featured again this year will be the annual Currahee Artists Guild Art Show on Doyle St.

Events on Saturday run through 5p and starts back up on Sunday at 10 a.m., running through 4p.

Despite the chance for rain this weekend, Crosby said Harvest Fest is a rain or shine event and will go on as planned both days.
