2018-2019 Stephens County United Way Campaign Kicks Off August 25

The 2018-2019 fund raising campaign for the United Way of Stephens County is underway and to celebrate, the United Way will be kicking off the campaign on Saturday, August 25th at the final Ida Cox Music Series in Downtown Toccoa

United Way of Stephens County is a local area non-profit that helps to fund various local agencies and organizations that provide services in Stephens County.

Last year, Stephens County United Way raised almost $90,000 for local agencies and non-profits.

Christian Hamilton, Stephens County United Way Board Chair tells WNEG News that this year the goal is to raise $95,000.

“That money, he said, will go towards providing services and program support for organizations in our area. Donations may be provided in the form of pledge cards, payroll deductions, checks, and more.”

Stephens County United Way is a homegrown autonomous United Way dedicated to supporting the local community.

Hamilton said on August 25th you can sop by their table at the Ida Cox concert for free water, information, and a chance to connect with our local agencies that provide so much aid to Stephens County.
