2nd Annual “The Paratrooper” Golf Tournament rated a Success

The Currahee Military Museum and Stephens County Historical Society presented the 2nd Annual “The Paratrooper” Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 6, at the Links at Lake Toccoa. Andrea Dalrymple, Executive Director of the Stephens County Museum and Currahee Military Museum, gives details.

The golf tournament was held on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. On June 6, 1944, thousands of brave service members participated in one of the most significant military operations in history. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to freedom will never be forgotten.
