Final preparations are underway for one of the Toccoa-Stephens County YMCA’s major fundraising events.
The 6th annual YMCA Mystery Theater Dinner will take place on Tuesday, October 2 at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa.
Toccoa-Stephens County YMCA CEO Robin Dake said it will be a fun night for all who attend.
“The dinner is going to be elegant, tasty, and well worth your time and on top of that, there is a fantastic play being put on by some wonderful local thespians,” said Dake.
The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Then at 7:30 p.m., the play will begin. This year’s play is “Murder on Stage,” and a mystery local celebrity will make a cameo appearance in the play.
Dake said all of the money raised in the Mystery Theater Dinner goes to help provide scholarships to the Toccoa-Stephens County YMCA.
“The scholarship program reaches adults and kids for all of our programs,” said Dake. “We give out almost $25,000 in scholarships every year.”
Tickets are on sale now for $25 a piece.
