Work Underway To Fix Water Damage At Stephens Co. Hospital

Work is underway to repair some water damage at Stephens County Hospital.

Hospital Administrator Lynne Anderson updated the Hospital Authority on that at its meeting on Monday.

She said the water damage occurred back in the Fall.

“Before Christmas, we had a regulator on a water main burst one night, so we got some flooding,” said Anderson. “It actually occurred on the second floor and flooded the area where we have Medical Records and Accounting, but then it dripped down to the first floor over New Impressions. ServPro came in and got the water out. Our insurance company will be paying for it, so we had to get the insurance adjustors in here and they have started the restoration work for that.”

Anderson said the work should hopefully be finished in a couple of months.
