Wind Advisory In Effect for Stephens Co.

Hang on to your hat, it looks like a windy morning in Stephens County.

Since midnight, downtown Toccoa has recorded a high wind gust of 29 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Stephens County.

That wind advisory will remain in effect through midnight tonight as the forecast calls for winds gusting to 35 miles per hour today.

The winds moved in after late afternoon rains Tuesday dumped a quick .68 inches of rain on downtown Toccoa.
