Voting Continues in Toccoa Storefront Window Contest

Christmas Day may be over, but there is still time to check out downtown storefronts in Toccoa decorated for the Christmas holiday.

Voting is still going on in Main Street Toccoa’s Downtown Storefront Window Decorating Contest.

It is something Main Street Toccoa organizes each holiday season.

Main Street Toccoa Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said that people can vote through December 31.

“We want to encourage everyone to come by and to look and to vote on their favorite window,” said Crosby. “We are very excited about it again this year because several of our businesses have just done a beautiful job in decorating. We want people to come and see them and enjoy them and hopefully they will do a little shopping while they are downtown as well.”

Windows may be voted on in person at Toccoa City Hall, WNEG Radio, and the office for the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce office.

Also, people can vote online at www.mainstreettoccoa.com and follow the link for “photo voting.”

The storefront that receives the most votes wins $250. Second place wins $150. Third place wins $100.
