USPS Issues Holiday Shipping Deadlines

The holiday season is underway, which also means it may be time to ship those holiday packages.

This year’s holiday mailing and shipping deadlines for domestic and international destinations were recently released by the U.S. Postal Service.

The Postal Service said to ensure timely delivery of cards, letters, and packages within the United States by December 25, it is recommended that customers ship their items by the following dates:

• USPS Retail Ground, which is ground services for less than urgent deliveries and oversized packages – December 15
• First-Class Mail – December 20
• Priority Mail – December 21
• Priority Mail Express – December 23

As for customers mailing internationally during the holidays, deadlines vary based on where in the world the package is going.
