Truett McConnell To Offer MBA in 2017

A northeast Georgia college is offering a new Master’s Degree program next year.

Truett McConnell University has announced its new Master of Business Administration degree program has been approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and will be offered beginning in the Fall 2017 semester.

This is the second master’s degree program offered at Truett McConnell.

The new MBA will be available on the Cleveland campus and consist of 36 credit hours for individuals interested in continuing their education in the business field.

Additional courses include business research methods, managerial finance and environment of human resource management.

Students entering with other than a business degree may be required to complete basic management or marketing courses before taking these topics at the graduate level.

Truett McConnell University President Dr. Emir Caner said it is with great excitement that the school introduces this as its second master’s degree.

Dr. Janet Forney is the Dean and Professor for The Hans Hut School of Business.

She said this program will also greatly enhance the professional image of the business school.
