Truett-McConnell Adds Criminal Justice Program

Truett-McConnell University is adding a new program.

The school recently announced that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges approved the addition of a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice that will be offered officially in the Fall of 2016.

According to school officials, the new Criminal Justice degree will be the first degree that will be offered as part of the new government division at Truett-McConnell.

Truett-McConnell said the goal of the program is to prepare graduates to serve at the local level, as well as the federal level.

Also, the school said that the degree is structured in a way so that if the individual wants to go on for graduate work, they should have the background needed to enter a graduate program.
