Toccoa Sees Another Wet Weekend; 3+ Inches of Rain

December 23, 2013

The wet weather is expected to continue for a time today before moving out in time for the Christmas holiday.

Downtown Toccoa received about 3.50 inches of rain Saturday, Sunday, and this morning.

That rainfall moves downtown Toccoa over the 80-inch plateau for rainfall in 2013.

As of this morning, downtown Toccoa is nearing the 83-inch mark for year-to-date precipitation.

There is still a chance of rain throughout the day today.

However, the rain moves out and clear skies are in the forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
