Toccoa Police Arrest One for Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping

One person faces multiple felony charges after an investigation by the Toccoa Police Department.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell, police detectives were called to the Emergency Room at StephensCountyHospital earlier this month, where an individual reported multiple injuries.

Following further investigation, Jarrell said police arrested 40-year-old Areesha Abdul Pulliam of Toccoa on charges of Aggravated Assault, and Kidnapping with Bodily Injury.

Jarrell said the victim is recovering from the injuries suffered.
