Toccoa Police Announce Other Drug Arrests

Meanwhile, the Toccoa Police Department is announcing a series of other drug arrests in recent weeks.

The Toccoa Police Department reports that six different people were arrested for various misdemeanor and felony drug charges in recent weeks.

Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell says that he is proud of the work his officers are doing on the streets.

“They are continuing to look beyond the call and to really focus their attention on trying to do what it takes, legally, to make the quality of life better for the citizens in our community,” said Jarrell.

Those charges range from Possession of Methamphetamine to Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce.

They are as follows:

On March 5, Travis James Russell, age 19 of Toccoa, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce.

On March 8, 35-year-old Andre Winters of Cornelia was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce.

On March 10, 40-year-old Timothy Craig Oglesby of Toccoa was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce.

On March 13, Michael Brandon Blanchard of Eastanollee was arrested for possession of cocaine and driving on a suspended license.

On March 16, 23-year-old Victoria Raney of Toccoa was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Hydrocodone, and Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce.

On March 19, 29-year-old Jessica Montgomery of Toccoa was arrested for Possession of Marijuan Less than One Ounce.
