Toccoa Little League Update

July 9, 2014

The Toccoa 11 and 12 year old baseball All-Stars are out of the district tournament.

Toccoa lost to Habersham 7-3 Tuesday night at the Doyle Street Park in an elimination game.

Blaze Haddock had a double and a run scored for Toccoa, while Chubba Roush added an RBI single.

With the win, Habersham moves on in the elimination bracket

Tonight, Habersham will play Franklin in an elimination game after Franklin lost to Hart in a winner’s bracket game Tuesday 4-3.

Whoever wins tonight’s game between Habersham and Franklin will advance to play Hart for the district championship and would have to beat Hart twice.

That wraps up district play for the Toccoa All-Star teams.

Two Toccoa teams are advancing in Little League competition.

The 10 and 11 year old baseball All-Stars will move on to the state tournament this weekend in Cartersville, while the Junior League Softball All-Stars will move on to the Southeast Regional in Fort Myers, Florida.

In other Little League news, Hart won the Senior League baseball district title with a 4-1 win over Habersham.
