Toccoa Jr. League Softball Drops Opener

The Toccoa Junior League softball All-Stars will try to bounce back with a win today in their second game of pool play in the Southeast Regional Tournament in Fort Myers, Florida.

Toccoa lost its opener to Florida 3-1 Saturday in Fort Myers.

Gracie Jordan scored the lone Toccoa run. Avian Craft, Bella Fernandez and Hannah Hieb each had hits for Toccoa.

Fernandez and Ivey Andrews were the pitchers for Toccoa.

The game was delayed at one point by a three-hour lightning and rain delay.

Toccoa returns to action at 10 a.m. today in Fort Myers. Their scheduled opponent is North Carolina.
