November 4, 2013

harvest festivalAnother Toccoa Harvest Festival wraps up.

The 37th annual festival took place Saturday and Sunday in downtown Toccoa.

Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said it went well.

“This year, we have had a really good turnout,” said Crosby.  “A lot of people on how many people were here.  We are thankful for everybody who came out.”

The festival dealt with a few rain sprinkles on Saturday, but Sunday was a sunny, beautiful day for those who attended the festival.

Crosby also said the city appreciates everyone who helped make the festival happen, including the many volunteers who contributed their time and the downtown businesses that stayed open throughout the weekend.
