Local leaders gather for Goody’s Ribbon Cutting

Goody’s returns to Toccoa.

The store held a Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting Wednesday morning to celebrate the grand opening of its location on Big A Road.

According to store officials, a new company bought the Goody’s name and has re-opened many stores, including the one here in Toccoa.

Local Store Manager Donna Rudeseal said that Goody’s is glad to be back in Stephens County and has a wide variety of apparel and more.

“We have our own private labels,” said Rudeseal. “We still have all the big brands (too).”

This week, the store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Beginning next week, the hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
