A week-long drama camp organized by Main Street Toccoa is wrapping up tonight at the SchaeferCenter.
Children in grades 4 through 9 have gathered all week at the downtown theater for Main Street’s first Summer Drama Camp.
Toccoa Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said the camp has gone very well in its first year.
“The kids are having a great time,” said Crosby. “They come in every afternoon and are learning all kinds of wonderful things as far as putting on a production.”
The camp wraps up tonight as the students will put on the performance they have been practicing and getting ready for all week.
Crosby said the play is entitled “Willabella Witch’s Last Spell.”
“We have some very interesting characters, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, a prince, and Hansel and Gretel,” said Crosby. “It should be a lot of fun.”
The performance begins at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.
