Authorities Seek SUV in Connection With Toccoa Homicide

March 21, 2014

Authorities continue to seek the public’s help as part of the investigation into Tuesday’s homicide on Pageland Drive in Toccoa.

Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell said that they are now asking the public for information regarding a vehicle in connection to the case.

“We are seeking information on a newer model Ford SUV that is either going to be gray or metallic blue in color,” said Jarrell.  “If anyone knows this vehicle or spots a vehicle they think matches the description and gets a tag number, if they can call the Toccoa Police Department’s tip number.

That number is 706-282-3237.

Toccoa Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are seeking the vehicle in connection to the death of 28-year-old Montavious Xavier Flentall of Toccoa on Tuesday.

Flentall was found dead Tuesday morning at a Pageland Drive residence.

Pageland Drive is located just off of Colonial Drive and not far from Fernside Drive.

Authorities have not released any details at this time about how Flentall died.

However, Jarrell said that through their investigation, authorities believe this is an isolated incident.

“There is no indication during the course of our investigation that the public should be alarmed,” said Jarrell.

The Police Department and GBI established a tip line Wednesday to help in their investigation.

Jarrell said that tip line has been very helpful.

“We have gotten some information that has led us to other leads and we are following up on those,” said Jarrell.

Jarrell said more information will be released as it becomes available.
