Toccoa Clinic Officially Joins NGPG

The Toccoa Clinic has officially joined the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group.

Everything became official on Tuesday.

The Northeast Georgia Physicians Group is the multi-specialty physicians group of Northeast Georgia Health System, the parent organization of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

It has more than 250 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives, and other clinical staff representing more than 20 specialties at more than 50 locations across north Georgia.

Toccoa Clinic President Dr. David Yates said the Clinic has spent more than a year making sure the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group is the best fit for its patients, practice, and community.

Yates said joining the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, or NGPG, gives the Clinic the resources to continue providing the best quality care for the community.

NGPG Toccoa Clinic’s main location is in Toccoa, but the practice also has specialty offices in Lavonia, Demorest, Clarkesville, and Clayton.

Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Chief Physician Executive Dr. Antonio Rios said they are pleased to welcome 13 doctors, 16 advanced practitioners, and more than 140 clinical and support staff from the Clinic to NGPG.

To inquire about insurance or the changes taking place in the clinic, people are asked to call the office at 706-282-5293 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or visit www.ngpg.org/insurance to see a full listing of insurance plans NGPG accepts.

NGPG said those are the plans that will continue to be accepted at the Clinic.
