Toccoa City Commission Meeting Today

Toccoa City Commissioners will have the city pool and the Pines golf course on their agendas for a meeting and work session later today.

First, city commissioners will meet for a work session at Toccoa City Hall starting at 4 p.m.

During the work session, the city commission is first expected to discuss a pool management agreement for this year with Camp Fire Georgia.

That organization ran the new pool on Doyle Street for the city once it opened last summer.

Following that discussion, the city commission is also expected to discuss the possible relocation of a maintenance building out at the Pines golf course.

City commissioners are then expected to consider taking action on both of these items during their 5 p.m. business meeting, which will also be at Toccoa City Hall.

Also during today’s regular 5 p.m. meeting, the city commission is expected to vote on a bid award for police department patrol vehicles and consider moving the second meeting date in May to avoid the Memorial Day holiday.

Today’s 5 p.m. Toccoa City Commission meeting also provides time for public comment.
