The Toccoa 10 and 11-year-old All-Star baseball team is one win away from a district title.
Pitchers Isiah Martin and Jackson Dean combined for a four-inning no-hitter Saturday as Toccoa defeated Habersham 16-0 in the first game of a best-of-three series between the only two teams competing for the District 10 and 11-year-old All-star baseball title.
Up 3-0 after two innings, Toccoa plated 11 runs in the third to break the game wide open, then added two more runs in the top of the fourth to conclude the scoring.
Austin Leverette drove in four runs with a single and double in his two times at-bat for Toccoa, while Isiah Martin helped his own cause at the plate with a home run.
In all, Toccoa pounded out 14 hits against five Habersham pitchers.
Habersham did get three base runners on two walks and a hit batsmen, but could not get a runner past first base in the whole game.
