The Stephens County School System will host a meeting today to discuss the school system’s Title I plans for the upcoming school year.
According to an announcement from the school system, the meeting is open and for all parents of students at eligible Title I schools.
Stephens County’s three Title I schools are Toccoa Elementary, Liberty Elementary, and Eastanollee Elementary.
Title I schools are determined based on a school’s low-income enrollment.
The meeting is designed to explain what a Title I program is and provide information on the Title I program in the three Title I schools in the county.
The meeting is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. today at the Tugaloo Building at the Stephens County School System Administrative Offices on Mize Road in Toccoa.
