Three Arrested, Charged With Obtaining Forged Prescriptions

Three South Carolina women face charges in Stephens County, Georgia after a multi-agency investigation.

According to authorities, agents from the Mountain Judicial Circuit N.C.I.S. Drug Team, Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, and the Toccoa Police Department opened an investigation last Friday in reference to alleged forged prescriptions at a local pharmacy.

Authorities said that as a result of that investigation, they arrested 35-year-old Bonnie Hamilton and 52-year-old Ann Elizabeth Nicole, both of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and 22-year-old Jacqulyne Marie Penny of Greenville, South Carolina.

Authorities charged all three with obtaining a forged prescription.
