From Region 8-AAAA, one player, Monroe Area running back Kwan Brooks made first-team all-state, according to the AJC.

Two others, Monroe Area quarterback Stanton Truitt, and Eastside defensive lineman Antonius Sims were also named AJC honorable mention all-state.
