The Toccoa Falls College Eagles split a double header with Georgia Gwinnett College.
At home Saturday in games broadcast on AM 630 WNEG and wnegradio.com, the Eagles lost Game One to Georgia Gwinnett, the number six team in the nation in NAIA baseball, 8-1.
However, the Eagles came back to win the second game 7-4.
In the first game, the Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies scored five runs in the fifth inning to pull away from Toccoa Falls.
Jake Fields led Georgia Gwinnett with a home run and three RBIs.
Alex Roberts got the win on the mound for the Grizzlies, while Zack Murdock took the loss in the first game for TFC.
Moving to the second game, Justin Key, A.J. Mussey, and Ronnie Stewart all hit home runs for the Eagles in the victory.
Key went the distance for TFC on the mound to pick up the win, while Sheldon Connor took the loss on the mound for the Grizzlies in the second game.
Toccoa Falls College is now 27-13 on the season, while Georgia Gwinnett is 44-9.
The Eagles are back in action at home today at 1 p.m. against Talladega College.
