TFC Dedicates Building

April 29, 2013

Toccoa Falls College is settling into its new William and Patricia Timms Hall.

Officials from Toccoa Falls College joined William and Patricia Timms, other members of their family, and the community earlier this month to hold a dedication and ribbon cutting for the new building on campus.

The building includes classroom space and office space for a number of departments in the school of arts and sciences.

Donations from William and Patricia Timms helped complete the building.

Toccoa Falls College President Dr. Bob Myers said the college appreciates the couple’s support.

“We are so thankful for both of u and what you are doing at Toccoa Falls College,” said Myers. “You are making such a difference in the lives of our students.”

Myers called the dedication and ribbon cutting a wonderful occasion.

College officials also thanked all of the volunteers who helped construct and complete the new building.

Besides Dr. Myers, other speakers included Toccoa Mayor David Austin and Dr. Bill and Mrs. Cyd Quarterman, and Toccoa Falls College Board of Trustees Chairman John Allen.
