TFC Baseball Takes Three Out of Four Last Week

The Toccoa Falls College baseball team is on the road today at Southeastern University in Lakeland.

Last week, the Eagles split a doubleheader with EmmanuelCollege and swept a doubleheader against Clearwater Christian College.

Against Emmanuel, Toccoa Falls College won the first game 6-0 and lost the second game 7-4.

In Game One, Zach Murdock threw a complete game six-hitter with three strikeouts and two walks.  Offensively, Jordan Couillard had two hits and two RBIs while Josh Hill and Josh Ward each added two hits.

In the second game, Josh Ward had two hits and two runs scored while Ronnie Stewart added two hits and an RBI.

Moving to the doubleheader against Clearwater Christian College Saturday, TFC won the two games by scores of 3-0 and 4-0 respectively behind complete game shutouts from Dylan Charles and Justin Key.

In the first game, Charles threw a complete game four-hitter with eight strikeouts and one walk.

In the second game, Key threw a three-hitter with six strikeouts and a walk.

The Eagle baseball team is now 14-10 on the season.
