TFC Baseball Coach Leaving

Toccoa Falls College will be on the hunt for a new baseball coach.

Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina, which is just east of Asheville, has announced that Justin Pollock will be the school’s new head baseball coach.

Pollock has been the head coach at Toccoa Falls College for the last 11 seasons.

In 11 seasons at the helm at TFC, Pollock led the Eagles’ baseball squad to four National Christian College Athletic Association World Series titles and two runner-up finishes.

TFC made the NCCAA World Series seven straight times under Pollock.

A four-time NCCAA National Coach of the Year, Pollock went 267-245 in 11 seasons at Toccoa Falls College. That includes a 158-88 record over the last five years.

Montreat College Athletic Director Jose Larios said they are excited to have Coach Pollock lead the school’s baseball program.

Larios added that Pollock’s heart for sports ministry and using baseball to develop godly leadership and character fits precisely with the school’s mission.

Meanwhile, Pollock said he is extremely grateful to Montreat College for this opportunity.

He added that he is excited to lead a group of young men who seek to honor Christ in the classroom, in the community, and on the baseball field.

Coach Pollock will begin his official duties at Montreat next Monday, July 13.
