TCC Re-convenes for Executive Session After Adjourning; No Action Taken

August 13, 2013

Toccoa City Commissioners ended their meeting last night, but then chose almost immediately to re-convene and enter executive session.

After Mayor David Austin adjourned the meeting, city commissioners soon asked Toccoa City Attorney John Dickerson about re-convening a meeting that had already been adjourned.

Dickerson advised them that the press had to be notified in order to re-convene.

Commissioners did that and then voted unanimously to re-convene the meeting and enter executive session for a personnel matter.

City commissioners met in executive session for just over an hour, before exiting and voting to adjourn the meeting with no additional action taken.
