A line of storms brings heavy rain, wind, and some power outages to the region.
The band moved through during the 6 p.m. hour Thursday.
The storms did cause a power outage at the WNEG transmitter, taking us off the air for a time Thursday evening.
Some other areas of Georgia Power customers in Toccoa were also without power.
Meanwhile, Hart EMC reported a peak of about 660 outages for its entire service area between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday.
Downtown Toccoa received just 0.22 inches of rain during the storm.
