Stephens Commission Approves Re-zoning Requests

July 24, 2014

Stephens County Commissioners approve their first two re-zoning requests.

On Tuesday, commissioners heard their first two re-zoning requests since land use was adopted earlier this year.

One of the approved re-zoning requests was to change a parcel on Scott Road from Agriculture General/Residential District to Commercial Industrial District for the proposed use of a mini-warehouse building for rentals.

The second approved re-zoning request was to approve a request to change a parcel on Camp Mikell Road from Residential Single Family District to Agricultural General/Residential District for the use of a residence with a barn and livestock.

County commissioners approved both requests unanimously.
