With county commissioners expected to vote on a proposed Stephens County Land Use Ordinance on Tuesday, the public still has time to review the ordinance, ask questions, and offer comments.
County staff and/or Land Use Regulation Committee members will be available to review the proposed ordinance with the public tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. in the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.
Also, the ordinance can be reviewed during business hours at the historic Courthouse or at the Stephens County Tax Assessor’s Office from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday.
The proposed ordinance is also available online at the county’s website, www.stephenscountyga.com.
