The Stephens County Indian Junior Varsity baseball team scored three unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to gain a come-from-behind, 5-3 win over the Madison County Junior Varsity baseball team Tuesday night at the Reservation.
All five Indian runs in the game were unearned.
Indian starter Dylan Simpson limited Madison County to just two hits and retired the last 13 batters he faced. Josh Slate pitched the seventh inning and struck out the side.
Konner Quick and Jacob Haddock each had two hits for Stephens County, while Logan Loudermilk and Matthew Henson also had hits.
The JV Indians are now 12-1 with a 10-game winning streak. They are scheduled to host Clarke Central Saturday at 11 a.m.
