The Georgia Center for Nonprofits has announced that today is the inaugural Georgia Gives Day.

According to officials, the purpose of Georgia Gives Day is to bring the state together as one community, to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Georgia nonprofits within a 24-hours of giving.

One hundred percent of proceeds will go directly to participating nonprofits by donating through www.GAgivesday.org.

The Foundation of Stephens County Hospital is participating in “Georgia Gives Day”.

Donations can be made by logging onto the Georgia Gives Day website and choosing The Foundation.

There are several ways to locate The Foundation giving link. Those include searching by the 30577 zip code, by going to Stephens County, or by donating to a special cause and searching through hospitals.
