Stephens Co. Fireworks Display Tonight

July 1, 2014

Stephens County will mark the Fourth of July with its annual community fireworks display tonight.

The fireworks are scheduled for tonight at the Rose Lane Recreation Complex.

Stephens County Recreation Department Director Richard Adams said the fireworks will start just after dark.

“We would like to thank 1st Franklin Financial, who is sponsoring the fireworks for the community,” said Adams. “Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, or something to sit on to relax and enjoy the show. Invite your family and friends. Rose Lane concessions will be open.”

The fireworks are free to attend.

Also, AM 630 WNEG will be there providing live reports prior to the fireworks display.

Then during the display, AM 630 WNEG will air on the radio the same patriotic music that is being played during the fireworks display.
