Stephens County Commissioners will meet later today for a regularly scheduled meeting and work session.
The county commission will meet beginning at 5 p.m. today at the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.
Commissioners will meet first at 5 p.m. for a work session on the agenda items.
Immediately following the work session, commissioners will move into the business meeting where they vote on agenda items.
Items on the agenda include consideration of a motion to approve gift cards and year-end Christmas bonuses for county employees, consideration of a motion to appoint Roger Duncan to the Board of Assessors to complete the unexpired term of Milton Spratlin ending December 31, 2013 and approval of alcohol renewal licenses.
Today’s Stephens County Commission meeting and work session are both open to the public.
